These yuzu radishes add a pop of color and flavor to any spread of food. They’re easy to make with minimal prep time and taste amazing! Add them to your table at your next meal for a spicy and bold side dish.

If you love the spice of radishes, you’ll love pairing them with yuzu. The zesty citrus flavor of the yuzu brings out another layer of flavor in the radishes. These radishes are dressed in a yuzu and olive oil-based dressing with red pepper flakes for an extra hint of spice. 

Garnished with a little parsley for fresh flavor, and you got yourself one flavorful dish! Serve it up as a side dish, salad or as a cracker topper. Spicy and bold yuzu radishes are a flavorful and colorful dish to add to any meal. Dressed in a zesty yuzu and red pepper flake dressing for spicy, zesty flavor. Use it as a side dish, build it into a salad or add it as a topper to other dishes for added crunchy texture.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sliced red radishes (1 bunch red radishes)
  • 3 tablespoons yuzu juice
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup parsley leaves

Equipment:

  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Mixing bowl for dressing
  • Whisk
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Serving bowl

Recipe Steps:

Slice the radishes:

  1. Wash and slice one bunch of radishes about ¼ of an inch thick and place in a bowl.

Prepare the yuzu dressing:

  1. Whisk together the yuzu juice, olive oil, dried red pepper flakes and salt.
  2. Pour over the sliced radishes and mix them together.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. 

Serving Suggestions:

Since a lot of the dressing will be at the bottom of the serving bowl, provide a slotted spoon when serving so that you don’t get a pool of dressing on the serving plate. 

Enjoy the yuzu radishes as is or try adding more toppings to the radishes if desired like bean sprouts, green onions or other herbs. Build the yuzu radish dish into a salad by adding more ingredients like cucumber, tomatoes and avocados.
