Inspired by mom’s home-cooked pepper jam from his youth, James, the owner of Brushfire Farms, went on to win awards for the unique twists to his mother’s recipe. Now he’s a chile master creating hot jams and glazes made from Chile Pequins, rare Aji Limon peppers and hand-picked prickly pears. Enjoy a jar from one of his small batches at your table and taste southwest Texas!
