Cultivating lychee is believed to have begun 2,000 years ago in China, where they were considered the favorite food of Chinese emperors. These tropical fruits actually require cold Winter weather to successfully develop and then warm, moist temps for Summer harvesting.

How To Store

Keep wrapped and cold.

To maintain quality, fresh lychee should be refrigerated immediately upon receiving and stored in a plastic container in the fridge for up to five days. Any uneaten fruit should be frozen in a plastic bag after the fifth day.
