When Do Membership Boxes Ship?

As a FruitStand Membership Club member, we strive to ship one unique experience direct from the farm every month.  Here is our typical schedule:

  1. Around the first or second week of the month, we will notify you of the curated experience you will receive.
  2. You will have a few days to decide if you want to keep that experience, swap it or skip that month.
  3. If you are going to get an experience, we try to work with the farms to ship starting the third week of the month.  Depending on the number of members they need to fulfill to this could take a few weeks.
  4. In some cases, you may not get your monthly membership box until the following month.

You may read this and think, "why can't you just ship at the same time each month like other clubs?"  The most direct answer is that everything shipped is truly fresh, sometimes picked the day before shipping.  Every box is sent direct from a small, independent farm.

Also, if you're wondering why a monthly box may not ship until the following month, there are a few reasons: unpredictable weather, changes in atmospheric patterns, availability of farm staff members and more.

Once the produce is ready to be harvested by the grower, we'll send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

FruitStand Promise: Every experience box on ships directly from the farm. Prior to shipment, the farms we work with assess the fruit for ripeness, flavor, color and optimal plant health, harvest the fruit (often by hand), and pack up every single experience box on-site, at the farm. Every piece of fruit is carefully selected by our farm partners. While nature can be unpredictable, our farm partners plan for everything they possibly can.
