What happens when you hand stir all-natural cajeta caramel for five hours with cinnamon in a huge copper kettle? MAGIC is what happens! Now imagine slicing into a gorgeous fresh-off-the-tree organic apple from Washington State, and slowly twirling it into this gooey goodness? You can taste it can't you?
Spend this Holiday dipping into warm toasted caramel with those you love, courtesy of Olympic Fruit Co. and Fat Toad Farms.

Cajeta is a traditional Mexican caramel sauce made from the farm’s own happy, healthy herd of French Alpine dairy goats.
Olympic Fruit Co. makes business easier for family-run farms. They represent generations of farmers who shifted to apple growing from hops, in the mid-60’s. Apples have been their saving grace in tough times. They came together to form a packhouse that would be grower-centric. Farmers in the region were having difficulty getting their product out into the market at a fee that could make sense for their business. The collective is pretty revolutionary—founded by four legacy farms of the Yakima Valley, they now serve over 50+ growers. The growers are all dedicated to reimagining the future of food, looking to the diversification of crops and soil regeneration—two important tenets of regenerative agriculture.
The Food Project’s mission is to create a thoughtful and productive community of youth and adults from diverse backgrounds who work together to build a sustainable food system. Our community produces healthy food for residents of the city and suburbs, provides youth leadership opportunities, and inspires and supports others to create change in their own communities.
For every holiday box purchased, FruitStand will donate $1 to The Food Project to help support their mission.
When produce is fresh, it not only looks better but more importantly it tastes better and contains a higher density of nutrients. Apeel makes it possible for growers to optimize their practices and avoid harvesting before ripeness, allowing fruits and vegetables to develop full quality (from nutrition and delicious flavor to appearance and texture) before they embark on the journey to the grocery store.
Apeel is made of plant-derived materials — lipids and glycerolipids — that exist in the peels, seeds, and pulp of all the fruits and vegetables we already eat.
Apeel is not GMO. Our products are not derived from genetically engineered plant material.
Allergic responses can be triggered when the protein from an allergenic source is present in a food product. Apeel products are not protein-based, but rather lipid-based — and lipids are not a source of regulated allergens. We also conduct testing to confirm the absence of regulated allergens. That said, if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to a fruit or vegetable, you should continue to avoid it whether or not it is an Apeel fruit or vegetable.
Yes! Apeel is edible, safe to eat, and fully compliant with all U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations. Because Apeel is made of widely used plant-derived materials — lipids and glycerolipids — that are commonly found in foods, it is designated FDA GRAS or “Generally Recognized As Safe.”

Delicious! Apples were nice and crispy! The caramel was wonderful!
Loved the caramel sauce & apples
This is one of my favorite experience by far this year. The apples are crisp and delicious and the caramel I may need to order by the gallon!
Fantastic caramel and amazing apples, this was a perfect dessert activity for the whole family!
I wish the description was clearer, like cinnamon caramel... I would not have thought that ingredient was in the caramel. I can’t stand cinnamon. The apples were nice though...
