Mud Creek Ranch is a sixty-five acre, certified organic, family-owned farm located in Santa Paula, California. Mud Creek is known for having one of the largest selections of tangerine varieties throughout Southern California. The family at Mud Creek specializes in experimenting with and cultivating citrus varieties from all over the world.

The farm team at Mud Creek Ranch are tangerine experts, and the property itself is home to one of the largest selections of varietals throughout Southern California. Mud Creek specializes in growing Pixie and Golden Nugget Tangerines, in addition to fourteen other varieties. These Organic Pixie Tangerines are seedless, orange and juicy. The Organic Golden Nuggets have been voted one of the best flavored citrus varieties in the world. Both varieties are easy to peel and excellent for summer snacking.

Pixies have a mild and sweet flavor. Golden Nuggets are super sweet.
About The Harvest
Raised in and around agriculture, Steve and Robin Smith come from farming families that can be traced back several generations. In 1985, The Smith Family went out on their own and bought land suitable for a future farm property. In 1990, Mud Creek Ranch was certified organic, helping to fulfill their focus on sustainable farming.
Thirty-six years later, Steve and Robin have raised children who share their same passion for growing food organically, cultivating fruit trees, and promoting crop diversity in Southern California. The family farm is now transitioning into the hands of their daughter, Marguerita Smith, and her two siblings. She brings with her an ardent passion for food, farming and partnership with regional experts in citrus cultivation. The family has long worked in collaboration with the Citrus Variety Collection at University of California Riverside.
Like everything from Mud Creek Ranch, all varieties are available seasonally, with the Pixie and Golden Nugget being harvested in the summer months.
All produce is shipped direct from Mud Creek Ranch using FedEx two-day shipping to guarantee freshness.

Sweet snd Juicy
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this. However, as soon as I opened the box, the fragrant of the citrus was wonderful. We tasted one immediately, it was sweet and juicy. Our grandkids enjoyed every last one.

Delicious!!!
Everything was wonderful, EXCEPT the Fed EX driver who thought it was more fun to write out a ticket in the lobby of my building rather than try to ring my bell or deliver it to my door. Because it was fresh fruit, I drove all the way up to the depot later in the day and picked it up. Shame on the driver. Good fruit did not spoil, but I was out 10 miles round trip when I prefer not to go out. Love the fruit,wish I'd bought more.
